24 years ago my dad killed himself. He spliced the end of an extension cord in to two, taped the wires to both sides of his chest, plugged it in to an outlet controlled buy a light switch, layer down on the sofa and used a broom to flip the switch. I was 17 at the time and couldn't understand why lead him to the moment. I understand now how its possible for a person to be unable to continue life. Im there myself. But in considering my own way out its lead me to a lot of curiosity about his choice. Was it quick? Was it painful? It seems to me to be an unusual why to go. I wonder how common of a method is it? You hear of gun shots, jumpers, OD's, hanging.... I just wonder where it falls on the list of death by suicided. I wonder why he choice it as his way out? Any insight you all have would be welcome.
