  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

There I am, chilling taking pic, waiting for the train, and all of a sudden a welfare officer asked me if I was a trainspotter. Now mind you, I was at the end of the platform, away from the entrance and exits, the place barely anybody waits.
He stayed close, keeping a watchful eye on me until I got on the train.
I know I'm suicidal, but SURELY it's not that obvious lol !?

I can't be the only one with this type of wholesome experience, is it common.
Care to share your similar stories, I would love to read them :)

Nobody suicidal is that stupid and does it infront of everyone.

1st: Speed istoo slow , well even for decap its more agonizing waiting longer from when you hear the train until youre dead. It's stupid.

2nd: Too many people. To high risk of someone interferring unless you're a EMO girl and this is actually what you want. Attention and rescue.

Had some guy come talk to me when I was practicing partial outside. Not sure how this sort of thing is "wholesome", btw.

a trainspotter is just someone who's fascinated by trains though?

That's really cool, as if it were a movie. The only remotely similar story I have was when I was in high school.

During class, my self-harm cuts were visible at the hem of my jeans. After class ended, a really kind classmate approached me and discretely consoled me. She revealed that she also self-harmed, and she gave me her number and told me that I can talk to her about anything, anytime.

Yep I once was sitting outside in the woods near the railway, but there was this stream between the woods and the railway and there was this tall fence as well. I had no intentions going on the railway. But I was in dissociation as well, so apparently people started to worry when they saw me because I acted 'weird and suspicious' and they called the police. I can't remember very clearly what happend but it was a weird day for sure. They eventually dropped me off at the hospital where I was staying. I remember they were kinda aggressive toward me for no reason tho. I just wanted to call the hospital so they could talk to them and they wouldn't let me and they were all threatening to take me with them. Eventually they called the hospital and they made sure that the police left me alone.

What you are describing is beyond comprehension to me as someone who lives in a different country from you. It seems very intrusive. I would be very upset at having an innocent activity monitored that way.
