want to go out by charcoal burning in my car. I'm scouting around for secluded areas. However I come to the conclusion the Netherlands is just the most populated area there is and even if you think you are in a secluded spot there is always some bystanders.

I think I've found a spot but when I drove there around 10 pm there are sometimes some fisherman.

How do you guys go about this if you want to use this method? Im thinking about just lighting up the charcoal and pretend I'm going to have a late night BBQ but I don't want people pulling me out of my car attempting to 'safe' me.

I think people can seemingly show-up out of nowhere, even in the most secluded spots. It doesn't matter the time of day. We're just not in control regarding what other people do, where they go, what ideas pop into their heads to go somewhere. Basically, you can just never be 100% certain that you won't run into someone, at some place, somewhere, even when you believe that nobody should be around. There's always going to be a risk. Cars in remote areas can be kind of suspicious, especially at night.

I'm be using CO, also, when my time comes. I'll be doing it at my home in my garage, although I understand that may not work for your situation. There was a member here who did it at a campground in a tent, with many other "campers" around. She "blended" into her surroundings and nobody thought anything of it.

Living with my father so no not an option to do it at home. If I had my own place I would use a small bathroom and light the charcoal in garden or balcony.

It's true there is always going to be people around. My biggest fear about this method is someone coming to the 'rescue'. And surviving at the worst possible moment in which I have irreversible brain damage.

That camper one seems to be solid. Everyone lighting bbq 24/7 on campsites. Just sneak your bbq in.

I can see where this is tricky. It's why I'm glad I have a garage and a private home with a little bit of distance from my neighbors. The last time I considered suicide I also had a garage, and I didn't take advantage of it, losing that house and then being stuck in situations where I could not be reliably alone for enough time... but now, I realize I have t do it before I lose this current home because I will never be in this kind of position again. It's too hard to find secluded spots elsewhere that you can be reliably alone for lone enough to be sure.

A garage seems to be a bitch to get enough levels of CO in tough. That's a lot of charcoal needed. Small places like my mini car, a tent or small bathroom seems more convenient.

Inside the car in the garage. You're still doing it inside the car... but inside the garage no one can easily see and interrupt you.

I've been thinking about going to an island on a winter night. You can walk there across the ice. The ice is necessary because here in Finland some people fish from a small hole in the winter.
