i've finally finished my decluttering. got all of the bags of donations and trash and recycling out of my room. i've let go of some things that i was hesitant to let go of but i know i never use and never will. my desk top is clean and all of its drawers are either empty or very minimal. my bookshelf is much clearer and even had an empty shelf. for the first time in forever my closet is empty enough that the clothes aren't all crammed together on the rack, i even was able to clear out over 40 hangers i will no longer need. i have a few items i'm holding onto for a couple more months to reassess but i was able to get rid of probably 70-80% of my belongings. i feel amazing. i'm also a VERY forgetful person and lose my keys (which are attached to my wallet) all the time so i'm hoping that will help with that. my mental health just feels so much better knowing i'm not weighed down by all of my previous shopping addiction remnants. this feels wonderful. if you have a bunch of things and have the mental/physical energy to do so i would highly highly recommend and hardcore declutter
