Fent is an AWFUL way of dying

Experimentei essa droga pensando que ia anestesiar toda a dor e que eu ia desmaiar e morrer, mas em vez disso, eu não conseguia respirar direito, parecia que eu estava me afogando. Foi assustador, precisei tomar Narcan.
E eu tinha o produto 100% puro que consegui no hospital onde trabalho, não era nenhuma porcaria comprada de um traficante suspeito.

Quando eu trabalhava em ambiente hospitalar aqui no Brasil, o que me anestesiava era a Dolantina, e no carrinho de emergência sempre havia um frasco/ampola de Nembutal.

I've been around drug addicts my whole life and never heard of a reaction like this. I've OD'd seven times with small bumps of street fentanyl. I don't even remember passing out, just waking up from narcan. I've never heard of anyone complaining they can't breathe while conscious. I think you were panicking and anxious. Those vials aren't high doses per ml either. They look kinda old and poor quality too.

That's kinda the point ... you go into respiratory distress.

I didnt think I would be conscious though, if thats the case, its definitely not worth it.

Quando? Já trabalhei em 4 hospitais diferentes, vários setores diferentes (UTI, Centro Cirúrgico, Farmácia Satélite) e nunca vi uma ampola de nembutal, nem nos carrinhos de emergência.

Interesting. Could help to explain why I'm still alive after 2024, I chewed to mush and held directly under the tongue around that amount and had more or less similar an experience as OP had, though no Narcan. They were transdermal patches.

Also had the same idea Kiryu about a firing range, it's risky though. Want to be there with no one else around.

I guess I'm annoyingly fascinated and this just seems like something I'm at risk of having to have an opinion about 'in the wild' someday if someone else is doing it -

So does the respiratory depression / paralysis slam on before the 'nod' in some way unique to fentanyl and maybe its analogues, or is it still 'muzzy' but in that 'having to remember to breathe manually and feeling sick sure is harshing this buzz?' way of more common opiates?

Edited to add: Y'know, 'free speech' here and most of us are obviously not enjoying this 'life' thing, but I don't really need the viscerality of trying to decide if I have to be the asshole who runs for narcan if someone decides to do this in front of me, so thanks for not doing this in front of me unless y'all are going to share or whatever. Already got my own nuanced opinions of whether opiates alone would be particularly pleasant or not, but insufficient information on this noveau form of them.

It says 1999 on it. I only speak English so maybe it's referring to something else. I've never seen a breakable ampule of fent like that before. I've only seen rubber stopper vials.

1999 is referring to a law around generic meds in Brazil, not when the ampoules where made.
