No matter what I do or what I achieve I still end up feeling like a failure. Every success is a fleeting high that dwindles back down to me feeling like I didn't do good enough.

Even if something I've done is objectively good or I've performed well at a task I feel like it's not enough despite having devoted my entire day to it.

I'm starting to think that no matter what I do, I'll never live up to the expectations I have of myself.

I feel you. This happens to me constantly. It absolutely sucks. It's like your brain is working against you no matter how hard you try, and even if you do succeed, it'll convince you that your success is stupid or worthless. And that ends up reinforcing the feeling of having failed, AGAIN. It's like living with a pompous, condescending Siamese twin.
