It’s getting cold

I dont want to live long enough to age. Where my body slowly gives up resulting in more and more pain until I die because of a weakened immune systwm and weakened body crippling my movement. And not only that the constant need to take medication just to make sure I dont pass naturally. There is nothing to look forward to in old age, but to wait until death finally decides to spare you of your suffering. And How do we know we will age without problem? I cant take that risk. of lifes final chance t torture me in a slow agonizing hummiliating way by shutting off my organs and making me forget shit. I cant bare to be tortured like this. this is why Ill end myself before I get too old

I agree with this. This is one of the many reasons for my desire. Every second I breathe in and this breath brings me closer to death. After many years, the body is closer and closer to death and you begin to see it. It is terrible, as if you are imperceptibly walking into the abyss. I even feel sorry for my body, I do not want it to slowly die and desperately try to survive until a serious illness breaks it completely. If only my brain could understand this simple thing.

I'm 56 and I can confirm it does indeed suck to get old. Time goes by faster the older you get. I never thought I would be this age. I'm ready to die.

I feel the same. I grew up around a few people up there in age. I watched my great grandmother fall and having to sit with her while help came because I was too young to help her up. I don't want to experience this. I don't want to experience any further aging.

I understand, old age just sounds like such extreme torture to me and I'd always prefer to not exist no matter what than suffer so unnecessarily just to face that agony, all I want is to be gone, I find it terrifying how a human can exist for so long with no limit as to how much they can be tortured.

I'm 65. It's weird being the same age as old people. (Saw that on a tee-shirt advertised online).

I have another reason to fear ageing as a third worlder: not having a pension.

I'm 43 and I live like a 90 yo person because of my disability. It's a very strange feeling. Not a life. Just surviving, waiting to die.
I cannot imagine 40 more years on this earth with this cruel disease

Winter is torture for me period. I live in the Deep South, but last winter we had three consecutive "Polar Vortexes". It ramped up my SI. I'm already dreading this winter. Perhaps needless to say I'm very cold natured.
