Here's some stuff I wrote in another thread. They aren't necessarily favourites (I don't think I really have a favourite anything to be honest). They were what popped into my head at the time.

I rarely play games now but I liked playing a lot of RPGs (mostly Japanese ones), survival and psychological horror games, indie, experimental, artsy, adventure and atmospheric stuff, etc.

Too much to list them all but to give a rough idea:

The Cat Lady and Downfall by Harvester Games
ICO and Shadow of the Colossus

Silent Hill 1-3 (Silent Hill 2 in particular)
Fatal Frame/Project Zero 1-3 (haven't played any past three)

The House in Fata Morgana and Kara no Shoujo in particular for visual novels.
Amanita Design made some really gorgeous puzzle point and click games.

Stardew Valley I played a boat load of when it first came out. It was a relaxing and pleasant distraction at the time.

The Final Fantasy series and Pokémon were also a big part of my childhood.

For me personally was the character development, most of the story (except Zero and his RC shit lol) and the huge map they made. It was way bigger than Vice City or Liberty City in GTA III. They also had so much new features in the game it was awesome. San Andreas was brilliantly written. There were so many subtle hints and foreshadowing it is amazing.

I really like halo 2 and 3 but prefer halo 2 for its multiplayer.

I am low key and elder scrolls fanboy and I've played all them im working on beating the second one which is one of my favorite's in the series.

I also really liked assassins creed's multiplayer, not sure if people still play that and what game.

Lately I've been playing titanfall 2 been really enjoying it.

Dark Souls - 1. A metaphor for human life with dozens of subliminal messages for those, who can think.This game shows our real life as it is, with all problems and suffering, full of choices, yet pointless. It is so ironic that this game taught me a lesson : even after all obstacles you have went through, your own suicide can be your only possible option. Truly a masterpiece with a well-hidden meaning.
