Discussion Favorite TV series/shows?

I was inspired by the thread on fav movies.
My favorite series are Mr Robot, Breaking Bad (and better call saul), American horror story (also a bit cliché), Black mirror and over the garden wall.
Light shows I enjoy are Dr. House, Bojack horseman and Rick and morty, I'm sure they're very popular though.

I am unashamed to admit I love American Horror Story. When I saw Kathy Bates as the Butcher in "Roanoke," I was pretty sure God may be hiding in her. When she said, "I am the tree, and the lightning that strikes it," I thought it was some biblical shit. That being said, I love the camp and the meta-horror as only a devoted horror/sci-fi fan can. I also loved the X-files more than anything and held on to my movie premiere pin for the longest time. I like Better Call Saul because I felt like Bob Odenkirk stole every scene he was in for Breaking Bad. My all time favorite though is The Wire - I think anyone working in a semi-large city in one of the "systems" can relate to its vibe that the characters are fighting an overarching antagonist that can't quite be defined. An institution that has become a machine that chews up and spits out any kind of human concern or empathy. As I have been a part of one forever, it definitely contributes to my desire to ctb.

Earlier? Buffy, Dollhouse, Firefly, Babylon 5.

And with that, I'm off to go watch Game Of Thrones, one of the few things keeping me filed under <Recovery> instead of <G'bye!>.

I recently watched my favorite show as a kid, Sailor Moon and liked it even more now than I did then. I prefer watching the original with subtitles instead of it being dubbed like I watched as a kid since it was the only one they showed on TV back then.

Wow I watched Into the Badlands too. I got so annoyed when they stopped at episode five for no reason for quite a while. So I am pleased it's back - one more episode left I think?

I really enjoyed The Wire and Narcos.

My top ten, in order:

The End of the F***ing World. Easily my favorite. A lot of people dismiss this as a dumb teen show, but I disagree. It's brilliant filmmaking, acting, and storytelling.

Nathan For You. My favorite comedy show. I've yet to come across anyone funnier or more creative comically than Nathan Fielder.

Trailer Park Boys. Well, the first seven seasons. Then it went to shit.

Hardy Bucks. Similar to TPB, but it never went to shit.

After Life. Ricky Gervais' best, most important work.

NewsRadio. The first great sitcom I saw.

King of the Hill. Needs no explanation.

Gilmore Girls. Fantastic writing. Certainly not for everyone, though.

Black Mirror. Would have been higher on my list had it stopped after the third season.
