• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Hello all, I have left 3 notes for my family to try and prevent trauma and sadness as much as possible. Please keep in mind a Hotel room was not plausible for ctb so I'm in my bedroom.
1. DO NOT OPEN DOOR note, mentioning emergency services number. It will be stuck under my door and mentions I don't want any family to see my body, only police or ambulance.
2. Farewell note: 2 pages telling my family I loved them, not their fault, don't blame each other, my reason and its responsibility, you are in shock, seek therapy.
3. Will: Only have a few personal possessions. Describes who they might go to or they can be sold. Signed.
Please tell me if this is suitable, thanks.

There's no getting around the fact that this will traumatize them badly depending on your relationship. That being said, it seems like you've done all you can, and hopefully you will make things a bit easier for them.

Thanks for the kind words and ik this will traumatize them, I'm just trying to limit it to the minimum amount that can be done in this situation.

I intend to inform them what the method was- to prepare them that I'll likely look a blue/grey tinge- if I use SN. Plus, any safety gear they should be wearing to protect themselves. If there will be anything dangerous around they could be exposed to.

Also, that it was indeed a suicide and that no one else was involved or knew. In the hopes it will be quicker for police to wrap up.

For me, there will be a bunch of practical things for my solicitor. Information on bills and service providers. Accounts and receipts for the tax year. I guess you need to decide whether you want to give them passwords to social media.

My focus will be to try to give my family as least hassle as possible. I've instructed my solicitor to act as executor to the will but, I'll impress upon them that I want them to do all they can to spare my remaining family the trouble. So- things like paying off my phone too.
