hi,
I'm about to buy chloroform to press a damp towel against my face. with this there is central nervous system depression and there is fainting. I thought I'd stick my head in a plastic bag.
my doubts are: It hurts? the phosphogen present in chloroform reacts with water in the lung to give hydrochloric acid, which should be painful. Is it worth doing this? Is the moistened towel of the substance sufficient for fainting? I thought of other sleeping pills too, but I did not find one that was easier to buy than chloroform.

Here's what I found on google search -

"Unlike the movies, chloroform is not fast acting. A soaked rag held over a victim's face would take up to five minutes to render them unconscious. Once unconscious an individual would require additional applications to remain "under". The effects of chloroform on a human is proportional to exposure and dosage"

"/SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS/ Acute ... responses from exposure at various concentrations of chloroform in /humans/ have been reported to be: fainting sensation and vomiting from 4096 ppm; dizziness and salivation after few min at 1475 ppm; increased intracranial pressure and nausea in 7 min; after-effects, fatigue and headache ..."

Like worldexploder said, chloroform is slow and unlikely to work. I would instead recommend an overdose of sleeping pills combined with blood pressure medication. For the bag, a large plastic trash bag should work. Make sure to use a rubber band to secure it to your neck. Lost All Hope has additional information.

the elastic is essential. the last time I put the bag over a bucket so as not to cling to the face, but I did not support the agony and I stopped.

Where or how does someone buy chloroform please?
thank you

Chloroform is very easy to make. And super cheap. Buy a small bottle of disinfecting bleach (6% concentration or higher) and some iso. An hour later you are done. Youtube has breakdowns and tips. I personally keep a bottle around the house.

If you need a cover story, its used to extract alkaloids from plants. Fun way to make your own Asprin.
