Had everything ready and started tightening the ratchet around my neck. Turns out even when I shortened the loop with a pair of scissors the ratchet is too big to tighten properly around my neck. Can't even kill myself properly.....

You can try again later. Some people take time to figure it out. That's the story for a lot of people on this forum.

Alternatively, the human body is really good at not dying. When I was in the psych ward, I met this one woman who said she tried to OD on Xanax. She took 70 bars and was still kicking. Must've been a Hell of a high. The OD wasn't even what got her in there with me. It happened years before she got picked up high off her ass on bath salts and landed in paper thin pajamas like me and all the other loosey goosey suicidaloosies.

Yeah you're right. Just a little underwhelmed about everything. I finally get the nerve to go through with it and it just fails so spectacularly. Back to the drawing board I guess. Gotta figure out if they even make ratchets for smaller "cargo".

Think of it this way - you weren't hospitalized. That's a huge plus. Gives you more freedom to try again sooner. Depending on how soon you feel ready again.

Unfortunately I live in an apartment so a full suspension hanging isnt really possible here.

Well, I had ordered 100g of SN about 2 weeks ago and it just arrived this morning. Hopefully this method will go smoother.
