I had my hood on my head to prevent burn marks from the rope also a bag above my head so the sight wouldn't be traumatizing.

Not only was I attempting to breathe which was hard but then my heart was pumping so damn hard it felt like it was about to explode out of my chest, I tried to persevere until I pass out but it wouldn't come (all of this happened in less than 30 seconds I believe)

I just got up afterwards, my brain has been hurting for 8 hours now, the pain in my chain gradually stopped but it lingered for hours. I had difficulty breathing the first 30 mins after I got up

Am I doing something wrong?

Yeah, that's why hanging isn't my choice for going out of this world. I want a quick and fail-safe way. I was always thinking about being crushed by a shipping container would be instant or getting decapitated by a train but the mess it would leave behind is to big since i don't want to traumatize others since i live for trauma for decades now. I think the trick to hanging is to fall a certain distance before the rope ends. When you look at the way they did it back in the olden days they had the people fall for a couple of meters so it's less strangulation but more like a quick neck break. Also the knot is on one side so it twists.

Was it partial hanging?

Yes, I don't know if there's anywhere in my house that would support full hanging so partial hanging it is
Partial has a high failure rate , it takes a lot to be able to do. I wish you luck hun

It makes no sense to mention Drop Hanging as a method since there is a high chance that everything will go wrong if you don't make the correct calculations and you don't have a place high enough for the "whiplash" effect to break your neck when the rope is fully taut and the body is finally suspended. This is used in executions and carried out by people who have been trained and know what they are doing. Even so, mistakes have often been made, and the prisoner has ended up suffering a traumatic death.

Article:
• Effects of the Drop Length

Where hanging severs the spinal cord at or just below the level where it joins the brain stem (the medulla oblongata), unconsciousness is thought to be instantaneous. Where the spinal cord remains intact, obvious physical suffering and visible struggling may occur, often more intense than in short drop hanging.
The longer the drop, the greater the acceleration of the body due to gravity, and the greater the damage to the neck structures.
If the drop is extremely long, the head may be torn off, as happened twice in the USA, once in Britain, and once in Kuwait.
If the drop is correctly calculated, the neck will break. If not long enough, the person will slowly suffocate but experience far more pain due to the force on muscles, ligaments, and tissues caused by the insufficient drop.

Full article

The hanging method discussed in the forum is Full Suspension or Partial Suspension. And its main objective is to block the carotid arteries that carry oxygenated blood to the brain (which are responsible for keeping this organ viable). And achieving unconsciousness quickly, you will no longer feel or experience anything that happens afterward.

You can learn more by reading these threads and watching videos, even if it's not your method; it's good to be better informed:

📌 Thread 'Videos of succesful hangings' + (2 research pdfs: phases in the death mechanism)

📌 Pain, unconsciousness, involuntary body movements

📌 Very explanatory video on how consciousness is rapidly lost due to the blockage of oxygenated blood supply to the brain.

This is the major flaw with partial.
Your full weight cannot be replicated in partial. It is difficult to apply and hold sufficient pressure long enough to pass out.
If you pass out and shift position, it can reduce pressure enough that you wake up. SI is still playing in the background and you stand. Our freind SI...

Should I wear a backpack with weights attached to my chest then?

No.
If you cannot do full, look for a better location.
Partial is all about the "sweet spot" and angles. You might need to practice until you get it set. You will know when you get it.
