This "alienation" (to use a term which will be comprehensible to the philosophers) can, of course, only be abolished given two practical premises. Which must eventually revolt or die en masse, because of the final crisis of capitalism. A recession that would have been easily survivable by workers in the 19th century, who may have had a small farm to fall back on p, becomes apocalyptic under these conditions.
