Exit bag considerations

Has anyone ever tried and failed with the exit bag? I am really considering it lately. My only drawbacks are that a. it is so expensive to attempt, if it goes wrong I will have wasted nearly $200 and b. i would have to do it at home and be discovered there. I'm also worried I'll mess up the flow rate or not tie the bag right or something

I am drawn to the exit bag method after watching the Exit International videos on it, but you are right, it is expensive to buy the cylinder of N2, and if it goes wrong you could end up brain-damaged.

Personally if your that tight on cash I wouldn't do it. Because some people take off the bag as a knee jerk reaction. And when you come to the nitrogen will be all gone. Unless you got money for a refill.

I am worried about this also. I considered taking 30+ml of 2m2b as a first step, and then trying the exit bag method a little before lights out. I already have the nitrogen tank and a regulator. It's much cheaper to buy the tank at a welding supply store. If SI kicks in and I rip the bag off my head I'm hoping the 2m2b will finish the job. Or remove the SI because it's a powerful intoxicant.

No, nitrogen, helium and argon all work the same. And survival instinct is in your head, not from the gas.

It depends. You'd have to be confident that the helium is unadulterated. Some of the one-time-use tanks you can buy are now mixed with air specifically to prevent death from inert gas asphyxiation. I don't know how you'd go about verifying from the party store that it's pure helium other than take their word.

As far as nitrogen, argon, a lot of welding supply stores rent and fill tanks for you. I bought my own online which game filled for about $180. I still have to get the regulator and try out the system first...I don't know why I haven't yet.

It's important to follow the steps in the guide in the peaceful pill handbook or exit internationals videos. The megathread has a ton of information but it's a bit lengthy to get through.

Both helium and nitrogen are inert gases so if there is tension it cause one didn't follow the instructions on how to use them imo. Why do you have some good evidence to support your case?

Be careful, I heard that major suppliers dilute helium and nitrogen with air to prevent it being used for exit bags.
I think you need to buy industrial grade nitrogen (not for beer making) that is pure

Helium for sure some sources mix with air, I have not heard the same for nitrogen, but if that is a concern then getting either gas (or argon if chosen) from a welding supply or airgas (google it, there's likely one close by) that provide pure (99%+) purity since those gases are meant for manufacturing/welding/industrial uses and purity is a must.

But if you go to a brick-and-mortar store to rent/buy then familiarize yourself loosely with what you are looking for and what it can be used for as it may be obvious to some that the purchaser/renter has no idea what they are looking for/doing which might result in some line of questioning.

You are right. I meant, it was ballon helium for parties and stuff not industrial grade. But it did say "99% pure guarantee" and they made this big deal about it blah blah....It looked legit.

It is legal to buy and no you don't have to be a welder to buy it. You could simply go to an air gas supplier and request a 20CF filled nitrogen tank and that's really it. If they have low flow (liters per minute NOT gallons per minute) regulators even better.


They might not ask anything but they may be concerned ifn someone looks clueless because it's a pressurized tank and could pose a danger if not handled properly which may be why they ask what it's for.
You could always claim you need a tank for brewing, purging of paint cans/ school project etc
I don't know how in depth a line of questioning to be or if they even will but I don't think it hurts to have some sort of easy explanation.

What country are you from?
Here in germany, I've seen a couple of websites that ask you for a company adress and id and blah blah...basically don't sell to individuals.

Honestly, I'd rather buy online to skip the hassle..
