Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

How can they say life is precious etc etc

Life and existence is a curse from day 1

As soon as we are born we struggle

If you are lucky enough to be born in western world it's constant struggle . Study to get into a good school then job then worrying about bills career whether you get fired . Betrayal by partner / spouse . Worry about not enough money while evil companies dangle stuff you don't need and keep chasing this that

And if you are lucky enough to be healthy .. as you get older your body breaks down and more suffering .

Life is a curse . Existence is a curse

Before I existed I didn't have to experience of any of this suffering .

I want to go back to non existing !

It is difficult for people to grasp this; I believe most are guided by sources of satisfaction or future plans—in other words, they put pain out of their minds as long as it is not constant or does not persist for extended periods, such as the grief following a family member's death (emotional pain) or a significant injury like a fracture (physical pain).

I was thinking today that, at times, time "heals"—or at least makes existence bearable for many—provided that the pain isn't constant. Many people have endured tragic, deeply painful events yet continue living normal lives; in fact, as you say, they often describe life as "precious." This leads me to believe that, ultimately, most people do not view suffering, constant pain, and death as factors that turn existence into a curse.

I am 34 years old, and when I look at my parents or aunts and uncles who are over 70, I cannot imagine how agonizing it would be for me to live another 36 years and have to keep suffering things just as bad as—or worse than—what I have endured so far. Existence overwhelms me then, because nothing in particular motivates me; perhaps when I was a child, or simply ignorant about these matters, I could distract myself and live without thinking about it. But now that I do think about it, I am acutely aware that existence is an agonizing experience.

When I think about dying—or about the moment when there is no longer a "mind"—it brings me a certain sense of peace; that is why, for some time now, I have become quite addicted to wanting to be asleep or feeling drowsy, just to find a few moments of tranquility. That is why the Greeks made Hypnos and Thanatos brothers—a very rational decision...

I really understand, it truly is, I see existence as the most terrible, undeserved punishment that just causes all this torture and suffering with no limit as to how much agony one can feel, it's just so terrible how humans impose this existence at all, no matter what this existence should never be imposed, I just wish I never suffered more than anything.

I'll always see existence as the most terrible mistake that only ever tortures existing beings and for me only the peace of non-existence could ever be positive, for me ceasing to exist is the positive solution to find peace from this existence of dreadful, futile suffering that was always deeply undesirable in the first place, it's just so horrible how a human can be tortured in this existence for so long just to face the terrible extreme agony of old age.
