  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

I'm very frightened that the SN I purchased will end up at the customs. In my country i had to go to them and pay some money, but maybe they would ask for the reason I bought it.

I know that it is used for curing meat, but I'm not a butcher and they could be skeptical and ask why I have to cure meat. Could anyone give me some more info how it is used exactly (which meat, from what source, self slaughtered)? They could ask me why I didn't buy the readily availabe curing salt, that doesn' contain much SN. Maybe the customs won't ask but in the pph it has been mentioned that welfare checks from the police have been performed, so I would have to tell them a nice story, but I could also refuse to talk with them.

The second problem is that I live with another person that knows of my problems. Since I'm a vegetarian for 10 years the meat curing excuse won't help. What would you make up?

In another thread someone mentioned that a person that lives in Germany had problems with the police and had to pay a fine. In the worst case I'll be punished or end up in a psychiatry, if I admit I'm suicidal. But I already ordered it, so theres no way out. I'm desperate, why can't this damn world just leave me alone?

If you've already ordered it, it's unlikely you'll have an issue.
most companies will stop orders being made, but if it's accepted then happy days

It can also be used for curing salmon. You could claim you're going to start eating a little fish every now and then. For curing, one typically uses "Prague powder" which contains mostly plain salt, about 6% SN and a little sodium bicarbonate, and I guess you could make it yourself starring with the raw ingredients but I have no idea about the process or how to use it for actually curing fish, meat or any other thing, Google is your friend.

The problem with using the 'food excuse' is that sodium nitrate and other products containing low levels of SN are available. If you're questioned on usage, best to push towards more the chemical side

With the chemical side do you mean the use as a rust inhibitor or for chemical experiments?

Used for photography developing. Order it and send it to another persons house and pay them to get it...

not tying to help others ctb. I really just don't want it to not be available because people start to regulate it. I can't order mine right now because I am
inbetween places and can't carry a 2lb jar around. I could put some in a small jar,'but I think the air exposure will oxidase it and turn it into nitrate. If I could purchase a small amount I would order it right now.... fuck
