The harrowing photo " The vulture and the little girl " just about sums up my hatred for this dreadful world. The photographer of the photo Kevin Carter committed suicide, just a few months after the photo was taken. Hello to You all once again with my new account after a failed CTB. Maybe I'll be luckier next time around.

I tried to CTB by the using the VSED method ( voluntary stop eating and drinking ). I went 12 days with no food and then stopped all fluids for a further 4 days, but became delirious and was screaming out etc, but I don't remember any of it. The couple in the upstairs apartment heard me and called the police, ( The couple were complete strangers to me, despite having lived under them for over 2 years ). Police came and broke into my flat because I was still delerious, screaming out etc. I was taken to hospital and then sectioned. Next time I will attempt using the same method, but try and do it far from any human interference.

That's honestly quite incredible that you managed to do it for so long. Your will is so much stronger than mine. I doubt I could last even a couple of days! Interesting that you barely remember a lot of it. So I guess you didn't suffer terribly during it? It always sounded a horrific method to me but perhaps not if you have the will power. I admire your determination.

yeah its very sad and this world is indeed cruel , the rich get richer, the poor are used by the rich to stay rich while they give the poor barely enough just to live as to stay alive to be their slave.

they also dont care about starving people, the world is inherently selfish.

and ive heard about that photographed who killed himself , he was tramuatized by that image he took but society also let him down and he had many issues :

"I'm really, really sorry. The pain of life overrides the joy to the point that joy does not exist. …depressed … without phone … money for rent … money for child support … money for debts … money!!! … I am haunted by the vivid memories of killings & corpses & anger & pain … of starving or wounded children, of trigger-happy madmen, often police, of killer executioners … I have gone to join Ken if I am that lucky."

yeah its very sad and this world is indeed cruel , the rich get richer, the poor are used by the rich to stay rich while they give the poor barely enough just to live as to stay alive to be their slave.

Thank you. I had reached the absolute bottom of the pit of despair so was utterly determined to CTB. When you reach that point, then your determination overrides your willpower. On the fourth day of no water ( after 12 days no food ) I began to experience a feverish dreamlike state with trippy nightmare kind of visions. I had also had the heating on full since the first day of no water to speed up the dehydration process.

He sounded like a very empathetic man. Too good for this hideous world.

Of course the existence of life in the first place is incredibly horrifying. Life is filled with endless cruelty and torture that will continue to repeat in an endless cycle as long as life exists and this is undeniable. Any positive views towards life are simply a delusion, and it's true that people often lie to themselves to avoid facing the harsh reality of this existence and they even try to push their views onto others trying to force them to stay here. It's a prison like existence and those that refuse to see suicide as a rational response to wanting freedom from the horrors that exist in this world are insane.

All that I wish for is to leave this life behind and it's not surprising that so many end their own lives. Life is both pointless and painful, of course suffering could never bring any benefits and I do personally believe that it's always preferable to die. Words cannot even describe my dislike towards life.

People who enjoy life are utterly deluded and blind to the true horror of this prison-like reality. Suicidal people on the other hand are the sane ones because they know the undeniable truth that living is nothing but a waking nightmare.

Humanity is frail, selfish and deluded. Kids and adults are dying like this every day. Kids are dying of disease that could be prevented with a cheap vaccination. But we turn a blind eye and complain about trivial things. It's about to get worse I think as finances becomes worse. The human experiment is failed in its own cesspit. Mother earth is.reclaiming her land again and we humans will become extinct.

100% agreed. Sometime in the near future people are going to turn on each due to the impending global collapse of society due to war, hyperinflation, etc. The vast majority of the human race are stupid, selfish, and lack empathy for others. I lost my faith in so-called humanity a long time ago. The image of the child and the vulture conveys to me that if god exists, then god is a sadistic bastard.

In a way, selfishness is not the evil, but ignorance about what true self-interest actually entails. The global human 'family' is violent and dysfunctional. It isn't even viewed as a family, even though every single human shares quite recent common ancestors, therefore we are all cousins.

But is it in the 'selfish' interests of a parent to torment and abuse their offspring for some twisted pleasure? Eventually they find that it isn't. Is it in our interests to let madmen rule our political, media and religious institutions? Eventually we will find that it isn't.

I think the answer is because human cant feel other creatures pain so if it doesnt bother them they can ignore


It would be different if they get affected by it or can feel it too

just like CIPA where the person cant feel their own pain they dont care hurting themself
