You never know what could happen. I find comfort in my escape plan.

I know what you mean. Living with depression for so long, I've always found it comforting to have that way out, if the pain becomes unbearable.

I understand why you'd find comfort in that, I envy those who have the means to reliably cease existing right now, I really despise how access to guaranteed suicide isn't a basic human right.

Always prepare for the future. Always have a backup plan just in case. You never know

I absolutely agree. I've had SN for over three years and knowing it's safe and properly stored actually did wonders for me mentally. I used to be even worse if you can imagine that.

The way out is clear and found almost anywhere and anytime literally just around the corner, it is about the weak will to commit and sacrifice that you hide, "You never know what could happen" if you meant just waiting until it gets worse then I will tell you that death is coming for you no matter what. So I suggest you just live your life normally then.

I still need to sort a few things out to get to that stage where I can call it quits at any time. Estate planning is done, I need to clean and organize my clutter, order a few things online. I have some time, I think. :)

Fully agree, and that is what I'm trying to accomplish.

I don't wish to die now, but things are getting worse and I don't know what tomorrow will bring. Having an exit plan in place for when I decline too far would be a load off my mind. It needs to be simple if I'm unable to focus.

I'm still undecided whether I'd use my portable generator.

This is what the governments could have provided for us, but instead, they chose to enslave us till death, doing everything to prevent us from escaping peacefully. Existence itself is already a struggle and humans make it even worse for each other.

Yeah it's amazing how much SN seems to double up as both life-ender and life giver. People even tell their therapists about it which I find to be very risky even though police won't necessarily do a search via a welfare check.
