About to board the Greyhound bus to New York, and fly out of there to Frankfurt. Ultimate destination: Amsterdam for the week and change.

Anything worth doing/seeing there? Cool food and drink or even just a chill spot to sit and look at shit.

Greyhound just took off. So begins the first 10 hours of 20 total hours of travel not counting layovers.

Off the bus and waiting for our flight. The New York subway system was cool. It was interesting to see how different it is from my hometown, especially as someone who works on the Light Rail system.

Flight comes in 2 hours. It's nice to not be moving somewhere, even if it's for a brief bit.

My friends needed a 3rd to go to a Magic the Gathering convention, so I'm tagging along. Never been outside of the United States, so this is all new to me.

Red light district ofcourse, coffeeshop, Febo.
If you like shopping Waterlooplein/ de negen straatjes.
If you like museums Anne Frank House, Rijksmuseum

It's been many, many years since I've been to Amsterdam so I can't make any recommendations. Go to the Trip Advisor Web site and enter the city you're going to and select things to do. You'll see a list of top attractions. Pick the ones that you think you might enjoy. You can pick and handful and put them into AI (like Copilot) and ask it to tell you the most efficient order to do them in. Have a great trip.

Just touched down in Ireland for our layover to Frankfurt where we're gonna spend our first 2 ish days. Thanks for the responses, all! I'll be sure to check out the Rijksmuseum, seems pretty cool. Anyone got favorite places to eat around there?
