• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I keep seeing people i went to school with who were fucking ASSHOLES happy in life with a family, their parents still alive, they have their life together, married, and im here stuck thinking about something they said 15 years ago. Its not fair these people never faced any hardship or challenges throughout their life yet they thought it was funny to put crap on me and now they're living a perfect life and im left to suffer. Its so unfair. They wouldn't even remember who I was yet i remember everything they said. my life has been a continuous let down with everyone involved. im not a nice person anymore. Being good has lead me nowhere but heartbreak and disappointment.

I, too, find it ridiculous that one's parents can set one up for success or failure, rather than one succeeding or failing through one's merit only. It is like personal merit (and especially moral character) doesn't matter, like one is simply predestined to a shitty or a lucky life. And no, wishing for a fair world is not a 'cognitive distortion', it is definitely what we as humanity could have achieved and probably were meant to achieve, but it seems the wicked have won and perverted being in a position of authority into resource and privilege rather than responsibility. Suffering has been rendered (almost*) meaningless by this state of things.

* it is still possible to dare and find meaning in suffering, and even have hope in changing this state of affairs, but this entails not playing the social game, and therapy is no longer helpful there, and to make worse the path results in being alone anyway.

Everyone is struggling with something so I try not to judge the experience of others. Yet, I'm also envious of those who don't have mental illness. I suffer from Major Depressive Disorder, Anxiety and PTSD but have to fake it to survive in the world. I'm surrounded by "normal" people with "normal" lives and they don't understand the pain and the isolation that I deal with every day. They go home to a loving and supportive family. Meanwhile, I go home and am alone with my thoughts that tell me to kill myself.
