Discussion Emptied the dishwasher today and started some laundry. Small victories?

It's chilly today too, which just makes it so tempting to go back to bed. But at least I've managed to do these tasks.

Those small victories feels good. Few days ago I managed to spruce up my garden, clean my water filter and fix its pressure, and made chapatis (rotis). But now even brushing my teeth is hard.

What kind of things do you grow? I've heard gardening is an especially therapeutic activity. And I can relate to that last sentence - it's a struggle for me, too. Doing anything today is a miracle, really.

Tbh I think I pushed myself too hard trying to do things. At least I managed to do that. Clothes are on my bed in a big pile, but they're out of the dryer. Meh

Yes, they really do. Side rant, it makes it so frustrating that I'm expected to go to therapy, take meds, and get a job so I can live on my own. I hate mooching off of my parents and living here, I really wish I could live alone. But when I struggle to do anything all day and I don't care enough about myself to work towards anything... It's hopeless. My mom sends me jobs but they're full time jobs; I can hardly work two days a week at an easy-ass job. I knew this would be an issue for years but figured I'd be able to get through it. But despite my best efforts, I'm here.

I've been pretty bad for the past couple of days but I did manage to go out to the pharmacy and finally pick up my prescription to try meds again. So today is day 3 of taking them. It took me days to work up to going. I haven't been outside since my cat passed and it was tough because I felt anxious and self conscious but I managed. I didn't pick up the order for blood work though. Going outside is hard for me.

Ficus, Golden Dewdrop, Bougainvillea, Hibiscus, Butterfly Pea Flower, Chilies, Moringa, Rangoon Creeper, Coconut Tree, and some plants that I can't remember (have no idea) what it is. My garden is a mess, so I'm taking little steps to spruce it up.

Today I went for a walk in perfect Autumn weather. Chilly, overcast and just a bit of wind. Leaves falling everywhere, the smell of earth and nature. I haven't gone out for a walk in months, but today was the day. I soaked up all that energy and actually feel pretty decent right now. Never thought I'd say that. Wonder how long it will last. Actually, I don't care, it'll last until it doesn't and that's okay.
