has anyone else sent someone a text basically explaining how everything is not okay and you're close
to hitting your breaking point, and it was very hard for you to send it because you hate asking for help
and then the person just never responds??

no? okay well that's my situation right now and i feel so stupid for reaching out for help.
this is why i'd rather suffer in silence, but then society is all like " well people who commit suicide didn't reach out to anyone "
YET when we do, no one is ever there to respond. it's so defeating.

I haven't ever went too deep to have that happen through text, but if it did, and I was sure that person actually just ignored/overlooked it, I'd want absolutely nothing to do with them at my worst or better days.

I'm sorry that happened to you, and I wish you well...

What anyone else does is basically out of your control. Do not take someone else's failure to respond as a failure on your part. You actually showed courage by asking for help.

yeah I agree with you, I don't think I want anything to do with them either. I just feel very stupid now.

and it's alright, thank you so much.

So sad, but that's how it goes. "I'm shocked !', "Why didn't they say something???"

You told someone directly and they ignored you. That hurts.

I was doing the whole "warning" thing with my sister. She said she'd give me some time and call me "in several days". That was over a month ago.

I guess I'm luckier than people on here who worry about hurting their family. What's left of my family seriously, no self pity here, does not care. Makes things more painful but also makes things a lot easier too.

Do you have a place to stay?

Are there any resources near you? Support group? Anything?
