Old Canadian classics,,
Classic toxicity hehehe
2237
filled with all male cast and no females besides for Women mostly existing as j.o.k.e.s, like it's interesting how the show is filled with an all male cast and women mostly or more like only existing as mentions or shitty punchlines, Maybe that's amusing to a certain type of guy,, but anyhow it's the same thing with how people use gendered language
Example-
"he"for anything powerful or working right,
and,
"she" for anything being acted on.. you can deny it if youd like but
That split really does reflect cultural norms, whether people want to admit it or not,,and honestly,
Harold Green
2238
He is written like a full on female stereotype..

Just in case Im not saying parts aren't funny I'm just pointing out what's actually there.

The punchline for the show was-

"If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy"

Playlist if you'd like ⤵️

I think i just need to off myself.

But you know Men don't just "accidentally" call things they maintain or control "she." It's learned, It's cultural, And it's old af...
Like you name it,, Boats, cars, computers, machines anything a man "works on," "fixes," or "handles" gets called "she."
Common you see it everywhere men call walls, chairs, cabinets, anything they tinker with or "work on" she.
Anything with power, speed, dominance, or strength gets called "he." anyway thats my miku me talk ta-ta and
And obviously this is not how every man is.

Hate me.

I wonder if it is true for other languages too. Especially those with proper grammatical gender for inanimate objects.

Speaking of Japan, here is probably the most romanticized figure in Japanese history and how he helped with the modernization of Japan:

"Ableism is The Bane of My Motherfuckin' Existence" (description below video)

Exploring disability justice framework, Patty Berne and Stacey Milbern discuss the need for a politicized understanding of ableism within a context of racism, classism, colonialism, and heteropatriarchy. Berne and Milbern describe the ways that ableism functions as a dehumanizing system that favors able-bodied people at the expense of people with disabilities, producing barriers from internalized ableism and shame, to interpersonal conflicts between non-disabled people and people with disabilities, lack of access to education, employment, and housing, social control imposed through the medical industrial complex and criminalization, and the severe isolation caused by institutionalization and incarceration.

This video is part of the series No Body is Disposable, produced by Sins Invalid and the Barnard Center for Research on Women. Video by Dean Spade and Hope Dector. Learn more about the series at http://bit.ly/nobodyisdisposable

For more on the intersections between ableism, white supremacy, colonialism, capitalism, and heteropatriarchy, and disability justice tools and tactics that center disabled people of color and queer, trans, and gender non-conforming disabled people, visit http://sinsinvalid.org or download the Sins Invalid's "Skin, Tooth, and Bone: A Disability Justice Primer" at http://bit.ly/djprimer.

How far back in time could you go and still understand English?

vivianite a hydrated iron phosphate mineral.

Iys Hardness is apparently 1.5–2, so very soft and can be scratched with a graze of a fingernail

Its chemical formula is- Fe₃(PO₄)₂·8H₂O
Its mineral class- Phosphates

And exposure to air/light, it oxidizes and turns:
blue,
deep blue-green,
indigo,
almost black.

The most fascinating thing about this mineral is that its found on dead/deceased human bodies

"under
specific environmental conditions"

which has led to it being nicknamed the

"necro-crystal"
or
"corpse crystal" !!!!!

It also more commonly forms in

"Peat bogs,
Clay beds,
Swamps,
Lake sediments,
Iron-rich groundwater."
As well as
Fossils, shells and bones,

And historically Used in art and paintings.

And its so delicate that one cant just attain jewelery with vivianite normally
it's usually protected in resin or simply display pieces only.

Another interesting fact about it is that
Its one of the few minerals that visibly changes color with
"oxidation"
and it forms in intimate contact with life, death, and
"sediment"
A bridge between geology, biology, and chemistry!!!!!!

Cool stuff

Youtube has served me some shorts from this channel and I have really fallen in love with it. This guy makes shorts about various movies. The shorts come in series, usually a week long. Each short is a mini video essay about one movie or concept. I have never been big into cinema but have learned a lot and genuinely enjoy watching his content.

So big win in a way! Since japan As of 2026 have implemented stricter regulations to host clubs, host clubs are are still legal and still exist in Japan like Many clubs still run in places like Kabukicho Tokyo, but there are less host clubs now since back in 2025 they decided to make these actions illegal within host clubs -

Manipulating customers emotionally to make them spend money
Or
Threatening customers with losing access to their favorite host
Or
Forcing or pressuring customers into sex work to repay debt
Or
False advertising or hiding prices
Or
Paying scouts to recruit women into sex work.

enforcement is ongoing and Police and regulators continue to do this-

Inspect clubs.

Shut down illegal ones.

Arrest exploitative hosts.

Remove illegal advertising.

Japan hopes to revamp host clubs so they may not be so obviously manipulative by Switching to
"healthier"
business models since before 2025 and still im sure quite a few still now use emotional dependency to get customers to spend huge amounts Now clubs are being enforced to be less pushy with there advertising and the way they conduct themselves, now clubs are
Advertising as-

"casual conversation bars"

Emphasizing friendship and entertainment, not romance
Avoiding phrases like
"I love you" or other intimate phrases
In districts like Kabukicho clubs were required and have now since removed aggressive posters and rankings apparently as before rankings within the host community has been only getting worse since rankings where one of the top ways a host could use there rank to manipulate and demand more for the same services other hosts give.

Then again though Clubs were not universally "required" by law to remove rankings and posters outright the
law bans manipulative business practices, and rankings and aggressive promotional displays were often tied to those manipulative practices more like and so As a result, many clubs voluntarily changed or eliminated there ranking systems to comply with stricter regulations to avoid penalties.

Theres also been a tie to women and there involvement with prostitution due to coercion within host clubs and between 2024 up till now 2026
About 40–43% of women arrested for prostitution said host clubs were the reason same thing In 2025, more than 40% of women arrested again shared how its due to host club debt.

host-club-induced human trafficking-

A host in Kabukicho Takuya Akiba forced a woman in her 20s into prostitution, just one of many womens experiences and He forced a woman in her 20s to work at "soaplands" brothels across different regions in Japan to collect her earnings and pay off her host club debt

Ex-Kabukicho host club worker allegedly forced customer into prostitution https://share.google/28HUlbxWyHc4FZDEq

'Host clubs' in Tokyo force women into sex work to pay off huge debts | Sex work | The Guardian https://share.google/r0LLlh4d1VghxSs7v

Debt-laden Tokyo woman lured into overseas prostitution describes abuse by clients - The Mainichi https://share.google/r9vsmEnmxA7vQWL5s

Another example of a women being forced into prostitution due to host clubs-

woman in her 20s who was trapped by the "Kake-uri" aka the pay-later system 🤡.
After racking up massive debts at a host club, she was coerced into traveling abroad to places like the United States, Australia, and Thailand to work as a,, prostitute..

Some women fall for there schemes luring women with ideas like how
They can earn significantly more money like millions of yen per month overseas!
But Once abroad, these women often face severe physical and sexual abuse. Because they are working illegally on tourist visas, they have no legal protection and are often confined to "waiting rooms" or hotels, with their earnings seized directly by the traffickers to pay the host back.

and so
This has become a major diplomatic issue. In 2023 and 2024, countries like the U.S. began denying entry to young Japanese women traveling alone because of the surge in
host club related trafficking.
