Why can you sometimes edit messages and sometimes not? Really annoying, I could've also sworn that you could edit any messages, even old ones.

It's because you can only edit messages for around 6 hours after they've been posted. And also this thread belongs in offtopic, this is the suicide discussion.

It's because you can only edit messages for around 6 hours after they've been posted.

That doesn't apply for me tho, I can edit some messages from days ago. Before I could delete/edit them, even being really old
