An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.
Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.
My current situation has me without any ligature that would be strong enough to hold me. I don't have any access to rope, so just looking for tips/info on effective ligature that wouldn't be too difficult to get (preferably something i could disguise as a household item), that works, thanks :D
To hold you?
Are you wanting to use suspension hanging (where the medium will bear your weight)?
Or as a ligature (simply a tight band that can be constructed to apply pressure to the carotid in the neck)?
I previously achieved success using a simple cotton hairband, with a knot in around the neck. It was purely accidental. Wasn't working as I hoped, so I slid the knot to the side while I looked for something to help me release it. The knot must have just positioned itself in the perfect place.
Next thing I knew, I was waking up with a nurse (this was in the hospital) on top of me performing CPR, in a pool of my own urine.
Don't think I could do it again. Total fluke. However, the hairband was perfect. Soft enough to be comfortable around the neck and leaving no marks (should your attempt be unsuccessful).
