I was after opinions on the Djurdjevic-Tara bridge as a place to throw oneself off of. It seems to fit the bill really well, but when I look for suicide statistics or any news about suicides from it, there is very little info (both in English or the local language).

The plusses are myriad:
1. Easily accessible by foot/car/bike, in a very touristy bit of Montenegro (ie visitors to the bridge are the norm)
2. 170m height at the highest point - absolutely way above what's needed
3. In a beautiful part of the world so good to enjoy nature before departing
4. No safety nets or any kind of safety; I'd be extremely surprised if there was a guard or whatever stationed there
5. Lots of quality and cheap accomodation nearby so time to set up, prepare notes etc (ie no need to rush there and get it done same day)
My concerns are:
1. The landing looks a little 'soft' - lots of tree cover, obviously no concrete, just a little river with soft river banks around... but you are falling from 170m?
2. There will be probably other people around... however nobody will be there at night for sure
3. Difficult retrieval of body for emergency services... but not that difficult. It's a river, they have boats etc and will be able to pick up a body easily enough (I will also let people know what I've done and where exactly with a scheduled send e-mail).
On this forum I've seen people talk about much lower (ie sub-100m) bridges for jumping, so I'm surprised I've never seen this one mentioned. I was just after second opinions before I start planning a trip etc. As we all know, the very worst thing would be to end up disabled/bedbound, and thus useless/unable to even CTB.
