I take a Klonopin one day per week to help make things more manageable. I'm afraid to take more than that because I don't want to become dependent or deal with withdrawal symptoms ever. It is my favorite benzo because it lasts for 12 hours, so I can feel somewhat okay for the whole day. Sometimes there is a lasting effect even a couple days after it wears off, because it breaks the cycle of negativity and acts like a 'reset.' It's also good for specific events that I know will be anxiety-inducing. Overall, Klonopin has been very useful, although obviously not a miracle cure considering I am still here on this site. :(

I'm about to take one now, so happy Drug Day to me.

Update: had a manageable day, as expected, but not great. I've still felt a little on edge just because things have been so bad lately. I love benzos though, because every time negative thoughts start creeping in it feels like they get blocked and I can just relax and be normal instead of panicking. In my enhanced state today I played a fun round of disc golf in the snow (would love to post a pic if not for concerns about anonymity), got some McDonald's, and now I'm just chilling before sleep. Definitely not looking forward to tomorrow when the nightmare resumes! :ohhhh:

Enjoy your pills! Personally I never liked benzos though, despite I tried almost every popular benzo. However if you like it then enjoy them. I'm more of an opioid boy but I do not recommend anyone to take them (maybe a few people that bullied me and others but nvm).
