Sounds like you'd probably survive. Trying your hands and feet isn't going to keep you from rolling onto your back.

The best way to pull off a shallow water drowning is to go unconscious before going into the water and have something to weigh you down once you fall in.

Well, generally the idea is to keep yourself submerged (because that's more reliable), not to keep yourself from rolling over.

But how? And what means submerged? If u let yourself fall into the water with your face up and hands and tied and weighs on your arms so u don't flip. U will stay under water right?

Submerged means staying under water. So the objective is to keep your body (or at least your head) under the water. It's easier and more reliable than making sure you stay face down.

I'd you're concerned, do a practice run and test so you know how much weight to use and where to attach it.

To test it and figure out what works best for you.

Seriously? Find a small body of water (or pool) and go swimming. Take something heavy with you. Do you stay underwater better when you're holding the weight in your hands, or when you squeeze it between your legs, or when you have it somewhere in your midsection, like in your pockets? Should you maybe use multiple weights attached to more than one spot in your body? How much weight is enough to keep you from floating?

If you want to get good at anything, you need to know what you're doing and practice doing it. Killing yourself is no different, except that you should practice one part at a time so you don't end up seriously injured, or dead before you want to die.
