If I go to a sea, swim as far away from the beach as I can until I'm exhausted, maybe drink some strong alcohol before entering the water, such as a vodka so that when the effects from it kick in it will be more difficult to save myself because I'll be exhausted and also disoriented from the alcohol, then the method should work, the currents from the sea should drown me. If I didn't know how to swim it would have been easier to drown but I know how to swim, I have to make sure I die and I don't save myself. Also I have to make sure no one else sees me and saves me. I think drowning is one of the most certain methods that will lead to death. But what I'm afraid of is sharks, it would be horrible to die while getting attacked by them. Sharks live in most oceans and seas so that's a problem. I live in a country with opening to the Black Sea, I heard dangerous species of sharks such as great whites, bull or tiger sharks don't live there because the environment of the Black Sea isn't very suitable for them, they mostly live in other oceans and seas, so the Black Sea might be more safe to swim in. There are sharks in the Black Sea but not the ones I mentioned, they're the most dangerous ones which are known to attack and kill humans, so the Black Sea might be more safe to swim in but I don't know for sure if there really aren't any of the dangerous species of sharks I mentioned. Also since the sea has salt water and from what I know it's more difficult to sink in salt water because the salt makes you stay at the surface, would what type of clothes I wear matter? If I just have swimming pants without a shirt on would it make it more or less difficult to drown? The same for regular clothes, would it matter if I wear normal clothes?

Maybe I could do that in an area where the water isn't too deep, but the more you go in the sea the deeper the water gets, I wouldn't like to put weights on me and sink in such deep water until I reach the bottom, the pressure under the water would be too much

Hi
First of all sorry about whatever your situation is that has brought you to consider these methods.
As for the drowning, I wouldn't be worried about sharks making it a horrible way to die. You don't need sharks for that, the drowning would be itself enough. That's Jaws (1975) and it's consequences speaking. In al likelihood sharks shouldn't be your main concern.
Clothes will make swimming harsher and a lot more stressing too.
The salt will make it more difficult to drown AND a lot more painful too. As saltwater entering your lungs is a bit like fire through them. Water is bad enough as it is, seas are a bit worse even. I'm sure you know how awful it is as a method to go through both in the pain itself and exhaustion And the survival instinct that will kick in pretty much regardless. You can try some alcohol to quiet it, it may help a bit, but if I'm honest I'd be asking if enough.
This is not to disuade you entirely, tho I can't recommend it by far.

here is what some guy did with some drugs and alcohol

still, it probably ensured his death, but don't think it made it less painful or awful at all if I had to bet

you do you, but think about it very thouroughly

As for me, it's a terrible way to go. If you swim close to the border, the border patrol might notice you.

I'd rather drown than get attacked by sharks, getting killed by them would be a horrible death. I read about drowning so I know how it is. I think drowning in a sea should work because many people drown in seas
