Has anyone here had a dream in which they committed suicide, [whether successfully or unsuccessfully]?

About two weeks ago I had a very disturbing but realistic dream in which I decided on shooting myself multiple times. I immediately regretted it. All I could feel was an overwhelming cold grasp throughout my body of pure fear as I realized that everything I've ever known will be gone.
It was unlike anything I've ever felt before. I never felt more at mercy in my life. I immediately began yearning to survive I realized how many aspects of my life I haven't completed.

I still feel suicidal, but the dream sticks with me. Maybe committing would be a lot different in reality. Perhaps it would be merciful and relieving. I guess I won't know until the moment of.

Yea i have, its always me jumping off something which is part of my actual suicide plan. Most of the time it ends there, one however i woke up 2 weeks later (in the dream) at the bottom of the cliff i jumped off, i was so angry i woke up. When i jump i generally have a sensation of being free.

I usually dream about getting on a bus to my suicide location, not doing it. I have died in dreams.
I think dreams are to prepare you for things you haven't encountered. Make a general idea of what will happen.

Your dream sounds frightening. I don't dream about CTB, but I have a lot of dreams of my life if things worked out. Theyre the worst because I wake up and i'm still stuck in reality. I do often think about how I will feel in the moment, should I chose to CTB. Everything about it is scary, mysterious, and lonely. I hope to get over it completely soon.

Your dream was showing you the truth of what you fear, making you go through it so you can take a good look at if this is what you really want.

I had a dream last night in which I slit my wrists. Everything was hostile and chaotic before I did it, and afterwards it was all quiet and calm. Granted, I'm aware it's the worst way to go about dying, considering the amount of pain and all. I just have to wonder if this is my brain's way of sending me a message.
