Hell together with reincarnation have worked to keep quite scared of CBT i was brainwashed with the same type of hyper chirstian mindset.
Sometimes i think the anti suicide actitude of religion is to avoid their followera to commit massive suicides if you are a poor farmer in the middle east beliving that there is a heaven full of joy after you die CBT does not sounds that bad, but the people on the top need to keep the bottom scared and working as cogs of the system

I know someone who is Christian and whenever they go on an anti suicide holy tangent, I troll them by going into opposite depth about how God and Hell is fake and the only thing after death is blackness, they get upset and eventually tell me to stop. We both leave equally annoyed but I always get the last laugh.
