Does the covid-19 epidemic affect your decision to ctb?

I know for myself, being in several groups that are high risk for ending up on a ventilator, I would like to avoid that if at all possible and get this over with sooner rather than later. I've been totally isolated for months since this started and don't mind that but at some point need to be around some other people. I know when I get it, it's going to be a really bad time for me.

So I am taking that into account. It already has affected my life adversely by leaving me without any type of a helper, as I'm scared to be around anyone. I don't see any way out for me as far as covid goes. I won't be one of the ones who has a mild case.

Instead of the spread of covid slowing down it's up to at least 10,000 cases a day that we know of and more who have it but haven't been tested. It's getting worse every day in the U.S.

Not really. Am I more depressed than usual? Yeah. But it's not significant enough to make me want to ctb more than usual.

I'm an introvert so staying inside doesn't bother me too much.

I read the horror stories every day. One young healthy guy in his 30s developed blood clots and had to have a leg amputated from it. I don't know if most other people read about what it does and the many horrible things it does to the body and brain but even those who survive often have not been left the same as before they got it.

I don't mind the quarantine situation it's the virus itself that is terrifying. Even if you manage to survive, being on a ventilator ruins your brain and the virus in some people does not go away even after months, they run a high fever every day for months. Or you can get strokes in your brain that leave you paralyzed, become confused and unable to speak or do much of anything.

I just keep thinking about how every decade there's some new terrifying thing happening. There was the Depression, both world wars, cold war, vietnam/korean war, the Recession, and now Covid, and on top of that there's all this racism, gun violence, sexism, etc. Covid just made me realize the world is a horrible place and it never gets better. Plus I'm 18 and just graduated high school, and heading into this economy is not looking good. What's the point anyway? People suck

Oh trust me the government is powerful enough. There are a group of elites worldwide who run the entire system and they orchestrated it all. All the leaders of governments are in on it. That's why it's so hard for people to not believe it. These elites meet in private. This was planned for a long time. They have been censoring a lot of people speaking out on this stuff off YouTube so they are having to move to other platforms like Bitchute. They censor because it conflicts with the governments plans. They don't want people to wake up to what is taking place. The end goals of the ruling class are in this attachment I added.

That's what I mean. If they're so powerful, that youtube video would be censored, because it's quite an easy thing to do. Since the youtube video was not censored, the government clearly does not care about it's contents, thereby proving the video to be fake.

Well im only trying to help people anyway. U don't have to believe me. A lot of people don't believe it's a fraud and that's ok too. But I'll still try to wake people when I see that they are terrified for no reason.

Affected the decision in and of itself? No. And definitely not the virus by itself. I know my luck physically; if I were to get it, I'd probably feel like death for 2 - 3 weeks, then be fine again for the rest of my life. Since you, OP, seem to be a high-risk group, I wish I could give you my physical health.

However, the whole quarantine thing and how it has affected the world, has definitely had an impact on my mental health. I haven't achieved anything and in the job market after this whole thing has calmed down (if it ever will) I don't imagine I will be able to compete with anyone for even the most petty ass jobs. I could see social security being abolished entirely - if governments truly run out of money, they'll have no choice - which would mean homelessness for me. I've said it another thread: I am pretty curious where the world and society as a whole will end up after all this, but I doubt it will be a better place than it was before this happened. Such grave changes rarely result in something better. Not in the short run, at least. I'm at the arse end of society when we're speaking class. And it's always those who will suffer the most severe consequences sooner or later. Nothing's happened yet, but I'm sure it will. I'm a bit on the fence about whether to wait it out (I've got my supplies ready) or to just 'call it a day' already. I mean... just realise this: we are alive during a time that will likely go down in history books for ages to come. It's at least a little exciting.
