Discussion Does pineapple belong on pizza poll

Trying to make a poll for the first time
I actually like pineapple on pizza it's a decent topping

It's alright when it's by itself or with sliced ham but when paired with any other toppings then it absolutely ruins the rest of them.

Oh honey, this only applies to those who aren't users on here. If you are a user on here then you get to be spared, thus you get to suffer all because of my vendetta against those who happen to enjoy a particular pizza topping that I dislike.

Of course. Why shouldn't it go on pizza? Pineapple's delicious. It will raise the overall tastiness of just about anything. I mean people dip their fries in the McD's ice cream and that seems to be acceptable.

Pineapple on pizza is the moral equivalent of drinking chocolate-raspberry flavored decaf coffee. It ought to be something you could bring to the ICC in The Hague.

Maybe if you used a fork or a toothpick to pick off and eat each piece of pineapple off a slice, and then you ate the rest of it, maybe then...

i think it depends. most of the time why pineapple might never work is because 99% its just huge ass chunks that make the toppings goopy. and if the pieces are even bigger than that, they make the crust sloppy. not to mention every bite is a burst of sweet, acidic juice that just drowns out the cheese and Canadian bacon. It would just be better to first cut into thin, small slices and then caramelize them in a skillet. If you are that worried about burning the toppings while the rest of the pizza cooks, just add them in after the pizza's crust starts to turn golden and the cheese melts. I bet then the pine apple would be more like very sweet onions in texture with its taste complimenting the pizza and not dominating it. Never tried it like that, so whatever, don't quote me.

eh, this may make me the biggest enemy but i don't really see the appeal of pizza. It doesn't taste bad but it doesn't take good either. I only every eat pizza at parties and you'll never find me eating pizza unless people insist to LMAO
that too only cheese pizza!!

I would totally hate a pineapple on a "classic" pizza, but when it comes to other ones it would depend on the ingredients of the pizza.
