Method Does jumping from a nine-story building enough to ensure death? Will it be immediate?

Is that a method you have to use for specific reasons, or do you just personally want to use jumping?

I believe Lost All Hope recommended roughly 15 stories (150ft on land) but the website seems inaccessible currently. It did not however guarantee instant death: I guess no one really can with jumping, alas.

As noted, you want to land on your head to die on impact, rather than ending up mangled.

yes, when you hit solid ground at such a height always try to hit your head
Trees and bushes are to be avoided and it is best to jump on asphalt

I wouldn't risk it. I'd want a 100% chance of not being a vegetable.

I imagine it would probably hurt like hell, the person might survive with serious injuries, and potentially injure a bystander in the process.
