I made a promise to myself that I'd revisit my hometown many years ago, but Its really becoming hard to do that. If I could I want to CTB there, but its becoming harder to do so. Its becoming a huge burden on myself. I keep making plans to CTB there, and researching how i'll carry it out related to that location, but realized its much easier for me to ctb where im already at right now. I just don't know if my soul will be happy with me if i kill myself where i am right now. Do you really think its matters where we die?

I don't think that really matters where we die, but If you really want to CTB in your hometown and it would be easier for you to do it there, then I say go for it. I personally don't believe in afterlife and soul, but that doesn't mean you can't. It's up to you and your beliefs, If you think that your soul would be happier with that then it's worth it I guess.

Just my opinion but my answer to your question is yes and no. It's not so much where I die that I care about, rather it's who I want to find my dead body and I'd prefer someone to find me relatively quickly after I die. So both of those factors influence my decision over where I'll die.

I want a stranger to find my dead body, not my parents or anyone who knows me. So I already know that I'll be taking my SN in a hotel room when I decide to go.

It's a personal thing. In the grand scheme of things, does it matter? Not really. Maybe some logistic funeral stuff but that won't be your concern. For me, I want it to be perfect and I want the location to be what I want, exactly that, nothing less.

That's actually a good idea. I think I might do the same. That way I can say I just need to get away for a few days and nobody will suspect until too late.

i'm just so scared whats going to happen after I die, it makes me wonder how everyone is so firm about their belief that theirs nothing in the after life. I used to think like that too, but with all the evidence i've read from NDE's and quantum physics and the fact that im going to die within a year, I can't convince myself theres just nothing. I've been researching for the past year about the after life. My feelings and dreams lead to one place, which is where I always wanted to be, but its so far away and I've got to go through so much to get there. Then again it could just be my mind playing tricks on me and I can rest in peace where i am right now.
After thinking through it for a bit, I'm just going to have to make the decision on my own, we're all going to die in the end afterall, sorry if I made anyone worry doubt their final moments, but its something that has to happen to all of us. No matter where i end up i'll take responsibility for it, and ultimately I think that's how God or the universe intended it to be and I'm just going to have to accept it.

I believe in the afterlife and gives me alot of comfort. In one way its nice to be able to pass over in an environment which you like, are fond of or which feels safe and comfortable. However we rarely get the choice in natural order of things how or where we may pass. The process in my idea of it all is that the spirit will do the exact same process journey, despite where our bodies are at the time.
Hope it comforts you to know that I believe in something after, as my dear parents always said 'little point being here in first place if there is nothing else to follow'.
Although I believe in it, I am still scared about what actually will happen when I pass over, so be reassured you are not alone in that.
For me, there is more and more evidence out there, so dont feel alone as others feel as you do, me for one. xx

Yes and no.

It's not going to change how you die, but if there's a place you really want to be, I think you should be there. It's important to you, so it would probably give you comfort. And part of the whole point of suicide is you get to choose the way you die, and the when and where. You're totally in control and it's not random. It's your last experience, so why not make it exactly how you want it?

I think this really falls under choosing the way you go out. It's your body and your life so how much it matters really depends on who you're asking. There is no right or wrong answer in reality you deserve to die where you want to even if you think it doesn't matter.

Personally I don't think it makes any difference. When you're dead the last thing that matters is where you died. It only matters to you in your last moments. If it's really important to you that you die in a specific place, go for it. If it doesn't make much difference then it doesn't matter
