I can see people at the store or walk by someone on the street, but I can’t really do anything about it. Life itself is a tease. Everyone is so close but I can’t enter their world. It’s terrible.
My ocd makes that difficult now, but it used to be my obsession throughout my 20sDo you like reading? It's fun to enter the world of fictional characters.
I read a lot of the classics. What shows/books did you escape into? I used to love LOTR and GOT.
I have to reread sentences because I feel I’m not grasping it.Why does your OCD make it difficult to read?
I have. I rewind a lotHave you ever tried audio books? Although for me it's harder to focus on an audiobook than reading it.
It seems like you've tried many things to manage your OCD so I don't want to sound like I'm giving repetitive advice. What do you do to these days to manage your OCD?I have. I rewind a lot
I distract myself. I don’t know how to manage it. It doesn’t help that ocd only gets worse with time. This was why I never asked out that girl I can’t get over from a few years ago. I knew i’d ruin her life and any possible baby with all my issues. It seems like you've tried many things to manage your OCD so I don't want to sound like I'm giving repetitive advice. What do you do to these days to manage your OCD?
What about video games with a story or that are visual novels. My ocd makes that difficult now, but it used to be my obsession throughout my 20s
Can’t afford video games and I don’t really like them. What about video games with a story or that are visual novels.
I can't afford them either so I pirate them, but I love my games especially with characters that I can relate to and a story which is good. Can’t afford video games and I don’t really like them.
