Does gm mean grams?

I just wanna make sure I'm understanding it right. I never seen grams shortened to gm, in my country we always use g, that's why I'm a bit confused. Not sure what other measurement it would be though

Not sure, always seen it as g. I know gr means grains, if that helps.

Gosh,yes...I remember one night someone here measured their SN in grains.
