It is only a small factor for me personally, but i voted yes. It darkens my view of humanity since we are like a plague that is causing a mass extinction. I am part of it myself; a burden on the world that doesn't even enjoy being here. it is quite the opposite of having a 'meaning to live'.

Yea, experiencing global enviromental collapse on scale that we never witnessed, mass migrations and natural catastrophies in places we never saw them... i just dont wanna see all this catastrophies and live throught this, maybe we will manage to limit global warming to 3 degrees tho it will still be catastrophic for people... Climate will regenerate in long run tho, but humans may be long gone by then from their our fault

Yes. It's not the main cause for me but, I think environmentally speaking, it would be very advantageous for me to die as soon as possible. That's also a reason I'm anti-natilist.

I feel similar to alienfreak. It's part of my horror at existence and my desire to die if I can't live the simple, good life of a monk. I simply don't want to/can't live in the consumerist toxic hell world, using up resources, producing waste. That's one part of it anyway. As well as a lot of grief for my nostalgic feelings about nature and the seasons. Nature will be ok in the long run, it will outsurvive this species, and has been through many a so-called apocalypses before. But from a small human point of view, it is so heartbreaking.

No. Sucks for all the breeders who will put their kids through that.

I would still kill myself if global warming magically disappeared, but it sure makes me want to do it sooner. Summers are already a struggle for me to survive in the heat.

No, it doesn't. In fact, it makes me feel less likely to ctb because the world is going to end soon anyways. However, at the same time, I don't really know how long left this planet has before it becomes uninhabitable so I don't really think about this much. I do hope that this place does become uninhabitable early because, honestly, it'd be better if every single species went extinct. I watch guy mcpherson to feel relieved by this idea at going extinct soon but I know I can't rely on this alone and I still have to ctb on my own accord regardless

sometimes i wonder if it's true that the world is endind, bc rich people (who have the real knowledge of whats going on) are living (breeding, consuming) like ressources are eternal.

maybe they're just stupid or evil (maybe they found new ways of enslaving innocent people in an even more vicious way in order to never have to suffer from lack of ressources).

i personnally am suicidal bc of the very nature of life. i don't believe that life should exist. the joy of one person is always (emphasis on the ALWAYS) built on the proportional suffering of another. and humans are only "thriving" bc we are raping and violating every other species (animals, plants etc) on earth.

life is not ok.

I don't think global warning is an existential threat. I think it could be, if it's ignored, but I think it is being handled.
I feel very confident that no rich elite would like an ecosystem collapse. They would also survive most of quick naive solutions just fine, while the common man would starve en masse.
