Discussion Does emotional numbness feel like static to you?

Trying to decide how I can describe it. To me, it feels like there is static running through my body (specifically my forearms). It makes me want to hurt myself.

But is this even numbness or am I confused again?

I'm sorry. People say numbness is simply a defense mechanism, but it hurts just as bad imo.
