I've tried anti depressants before but I cannot do I daily pill no matter what I do. I don't need tips on how to make yourself take it everyday because I've tried everything and its more than just remembering to take it. Are their any alternatives? I've only heard of a weekly version of prozac, and maybe some IM meds but those are usually strong meds for people who absolutely cannot take care of themselves (at least that's my impression). I know there's like ketamine and TMS but there's no way id be able to get that sort of treatment. Does anyone know of anything else?

Modafinil is helpful for me instantly and on the day. I take between 40 and 50 mg. I don't know if it is wise to take it every day - apparently, it can build tolerance, and it does have some side effects when taken long term (like all the medications do). It is worth trying. You can buy it online legally in Europe, don't know about America.

Kava and Kratom are helpful for some - and they also work instantly when they work. MJ for those it helps (I am one of them).

Magic Mushrooms /psilocybin - are the future of depression treatment (check out the research). If you get your hands on some, you can take them as and when. In Europe you can get growing kits by post.
