Nitrogen asphyxiation has been my method of choice since I was 17/18 because of the painlessness...but as intellectual I am, I absolutely suck at anything practical. The regulators..the valves..all of it confuses the hell out of me. I could just go the Max Dog Brewing method, but I really don't have hundreds of dollars to spend right now, so I'm looking for how to create it on my own for less money (of course, if I have to, I'll still pay for it through MDB lol). Does anyone have any info?

Oh, and if anyone else is using this method, I'd (20F) love to connect and chat.

Hello,

In regards to the hardware needed I recommend using an oxygen regulator with an adapter. Read this thread:

https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/max-dog-regulator-ridiculous-price.18831/

The comments posted by Fister will tell you the exact parts to get. You'll have to search on Google using the part numbers he gives but you'll find the needed items. There's a second thread linked to in the thread above you may also want to read.

Also for the tubing you need you can either buy oxygen tubing from Amazon or go to a local hardware store and buy a length of vinyl tubing cut to whatever length you want. I think the recommended length for this method is around 6 feet.

Incidentally, as you'll see on that thread, Fister killed himself this past weekend using the inert gas/bag method.

In regards to buying a tank of nitrogen do the following:

1) Go to a website called Cyberweld...(D O T)...c o m which has been recommended here on SS before. I can't link directly because of the new forum rule about posting sources.

2) In the search box type in: inert gas cylinder

3) This will bring up a list of inert gas tanks you can buy in various sizes as measured in cubic feet. 20 cubic feet is the minimum size you need for this method. You can also buy a 40- or 60-cubic foot tank that will obviously provide nitrogen for a longer period of time "just to be sure" if you'd like that. ONLY choose a tank listed as "inert gas". DO NOT get one marked "oxygen", "acetylene", etc.

4) Click on the size of tank you're interested in. On the product info page for each tank there's a dropdown menu under the word "options". Use the menu and select "Full Nitrogen". What this means is that Cyberweld will fill the tank for you with N2 then ship it directly to your house.

This is amazing, thank you! Incidentally, I was already going to purchase the N2 from Cyberweld, and I also already have experience with vinyl tubing from Amazon because I have an eating disorder and used to use the same kinds of tubes to pump my own stomach as a method of purging my food.

The most complicated thing to me was the regulator, but I'll look into the thread, and if I have any questions after reading it, I'll ask you :) thanks so much!

What does it mean by gas "hoods"?
For some the DIY exit bag/hood is intimidating. There used to be a woman that sold them, but she was busted. Looking for a possible, other, entrepreneur

So, gas hood is same thing as Exit bag? And PPeH has the video explaining how to make DIY exit bag, right?

has anyone ever thought of a fire mans suit SCBA pack, they have built in-regulators and with Nitrogen very similar to air, it should work normally used sets on E-bay and you can adapt to CGA-580 any thoughts

i can't find the listing in ebay, could you PM me the one you've found?

EDIT: Could you be a little bit more specific in the naming of SCBA pack? i'm new to learning about Nitrogen method and still trying to familiarize myself with the mask part of the Nitrogen method. I want to see as well what regulator is used in SCBA pack. Thanks

Muy impresionante. Ingles, por favor. No comprendo. Can you please explain what specific parts you used to put together that set up and where you got them from?

Are you in the United States or a Latin American country? There may be technical differences in the parts available in these two areas of the world.

sorry, I write from Spain, Barcelona and I don't know English, I write it from google translate.
I bought the mask on ebay and it belongs to the autonomous firefighters team, it is a second-hand, drager brand.
And the reducer also on ebay.
Adapter nuts in a hardware store

The nitrogen cylinder is 7 kg.
Does anyone know how much breathing time you have?
I'm afraid of not having enough gas and not finishing.
Thank you
