  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

This might be a weird question, but apparently people with TMD are at a higher risk for suicide. I have TMD and I would say the pain and the facial disfigurement it causes have absolutely contributed to me being suicidal. In fact, I'm pretty sure I developed both around the same age (8). Anyone else have experience with this?

I had it pretty bad when I was around that age. At points it got so bad that my mouth frequently got locked open and my parents had to help me pop my jaw back into place so I would close my mouth again.

Yup, I think but not as severe, and not diagnosed. it started when I was younger, I remember waking up in the middle of the night, my jaw was hurting and my ears were making a hissing sound, the hissings never gone away, likely tinnitus induced by my jaw pushing up against my ear canal. The strange thing is that the doctors I've gone to check in with saw no signs of anything weird with my jaw, despite the tinnitus, despite me hearing an audible pop/brushing sound when i move it, despite the pain in my jaw when I wake up. Makes ABSOLUETLY no fucking sense. And yeah, I've learned to manage it now, but the tinnitus especially had to have contributed to my early depression.

Omg YES. My jaw hurts all the time and it pops when I chew. A while ago I had some teeth pulled and now my ears constantly feel weird. I feel like I can't pop them. Just reason #457 for me to kill myself. Im getting inpatient but still scared asf :(
