All of the above. I don't think there were any puzzle pieces in the box when I was opened up. I'm not really religious anymore.
Mostly because of the way some people who claim they are religious treat others who don't believe or have some other faith and try to force their beliefs on others.

All the time. I feel like a horrible and lazy Christian. My family feels like a bunch of strangers. I feel creepy because I went through college basically solo - I had a few friends, but I preferred to keep to myself. At my job, possibly due to my position in the company or because of my meek disposition, I'm often overlooked and ignored. There are some people I've managed to click with, but I often feel rather alienated at work too. Even with my friends, I feel like I don't belong.

It's like the feeling of wanting to return home after a stressful day, but nowhere really feels like home. I'm just...drifting.

I feel this way, I feel like an alien. I've always tried to make myself believe that there is a place for me somewhere, I just have to find it, but I have yet to. I feel like I'm in one of those, "One Of These Things Isn't Like The Others" puzzle.

For me belonging has never been the issue. For me the problem is that my ill health prevents me from actively participating in social activities.

I don't merely "feel" like I don't belong, I know that I don't belong. The empirical evidence in my life is overwhelming that I don't belong.

Yes. I'm South Asian and I was adopted by a white family. I was raised in an all white community and faced a lot of bullying. My "parents" were racist and disowned me when I left their religion and converted to another.

I've tried to integrate into the community but the reality is that I'm in my 20's and too old to learn my culture, language and study my faith. I look at people my age who were raised by their real parents and within their culture and community and I know I'll never catch up.

I believe in reincarnation so I sort of see suicide as a fresh start.

Always. I alway knew I was not normal. Overly emotional and socially awkward / inappropriate. No real sense of self or identity. My identity has become "lazy and depressed and BPD". Even last year when I started building a sense of self through activities / community involvement, I never felt worthy. I've alienated people and see a lot of people around me as much better with fuller lives because they've made it that way. I seem to destroy everything I touch. Since a teen I always related to Edward Scissorhands story. Sounds silly but oh well. I just need to go back to my "castle" and be alone for good.
I adore people but not worthy of the good ones.

I don't belong where I physically live, the place I do belong I'm too scared and fucked up to to back to. I didn't intend to leave but stuff happened and I got sick.
It's killing me to not be able to go home.
I do believe we all belong somewhere though. Its all mixed up over thousands of years of people moving around the world, souls are getting lost

I don't fit and never did to any group of people and i'm glad about it. Specialy today. Not so long ago i created my own world, with my own rules and it's fun.

I wandered my entire life since I left home. I briefly had a place I felt like I belonged but I was kicked out and never allowed to return. I returned to my childhood home six years ago and was finally happy. Then I lost it. Now I try to make the best out of where I am but it will never be home. I've tried to find a place in the world and failed.
