I personally no longer believe in one due to my loss of faith, but I really hope I'm right about that. Because I am pretty sure I'm going to hell if there is one due to how upset I was/am with the old guy in the clouds. I suppose there is only one way to find out.

no, I don't believe that there is anything after death. No spirit, no afterlife, nothing. We exist and then we are gone. That's only my opinion, and I am about as right as anyone who claims they know the answer. I find comfort in the fact that when it ends, it ends. But many fear that exact prospect. I'm sure whatever lies beyond is more peaceful than being here

I don't believe in the afterlife. I'm not religious. I think dying will feel like being unconscious for eternity. I think this whole concept of heaven and hell is just made by humans to enforce rules. I also don't believe ghosts exist. I think it's just a fantasy concept for stories

No, i believe consciousness is the result of physical and chemical reactions in the brain, when those things stop, what could possibly be left?

I believe. There's no risk in believing and I'd rather have a positive driver when it comes to catching the bus, instead of being all doom and gloom.

I don't, but I'd like to believe that we are reincarnated as someone else after death. Nothing to do with religious crap either, I have no faith in anything. Though I'm just as knowledgeable on this as someone who claims to "have the answers." We don't know till we get there.

While I have watched countless near-death experience videos and DMT trips I still can't be sure. I wrote a post (didn't really go down well tbh) called Have you ever died? Basically, trying to say to people, look if you have never truly died you will never know. It's all a mystery and maybe that is for a reason. If everybody knew for certain it may freak people out, give them comfort or mess around with their minds even more. I say, just try to be kind while you are still here and let the unknown stay that way. Let death be a mysterious adventure instead.

I still can't decide. Increasing number of people and movies suggest this world is not real, but just a simulation. This is really a variation of afterlife, because what happen in this world will inform some creatures in another world.

If u get born again, u will get the eternal life in a spirit body. It will be the same as what Jesus got when he was raised from the dead. We really don't know what it will be like in God's kingdom but it will be better than this supposedly. Right now we live in Satan's kingdom even though God did create this world, Satan is the manager or God of this world we inhabit with our flesh body. We won't be raised up from the dead until Jesus returns so if someone is dead currently but was a believer when they died, they are not immediately experiencing this after life. It might not be for awhile yet, nobody knows wen Jesus will gather us up.

Well, there sure are a lot of demonic and cruel people in the world, that's for sure. I have met quite a few of them in my lifetime and they are nothing but toxic.

I hope and wish that there is nothing. Empty. Puff and gone. No heaven (What im not deserved), no hell (Where i will burn in eternity), no reincarnation (The doctrine of Buddhism is the threat of a thousandfold death and millionfold suffering) Just nothing. I hope im right, if not I made a lot of very bad decissions.

I don't understand why a loving god would allow Satan to rule the world and cause pain and suffering. It doesn't make sense.

There is because we are in the end times. There are more narcissists and other pathological people than ever before. It says in the Bible that as the end gets nearer people will become lovers of themselves and selfish, cruel, etc.

I was explained that God can't destroy anything that he has created, including Satan. Initially Satan was called Lucifer and God loved him, he was an angel. I'm not sure why Lucifer turned against God but supposedly he wanted to be like God and because he could not be God he decided he will destroy God's creation and recreate this world in his image. So when Adam and Eve disobeyed God, Adam gave dominion of this world over to Satan until a designated amount of time, probably till things just get to a point when all Christians that can be saved are. I guess there are contracts that God has to abide by. When Satan's time is finally up he is going to be imprisoned for 1,000 years. The Bible was like a warning and teaching us to be aware of Satan and also how we should live so that we will have the most happiness in our lives while here in this world. I hope that these questions will be answered in the next life. As to why God had to do things this way. Much of the pain and suffering we endure is actually self inflicted, or inflicted by others who are often not born again, still living with their old nature and have not matured spiritually. When we lost the Holy Spirit, we are born to be sinners and destructive to ourselves and others. Everyone to different degrees I suppose but in God's eyes all sin is equal. Only that some sins cause more damage than others.

My religion (Satanism) doesn't believe in any kind of afterlife — the fifth tenet states that "beliefs should conform to one's best scientific understanding of the world" — and I would hope there isn't. Once I'm ready to move on, I'd like to keep it that way, y'know? Any form of eternity sounds like hell. Even when as a child I believed this.

No. consciousness is a man made concept that does not exist.

What you percieve / what we define as consciousness is the result of neurons and cells in your brain that happened to become connected and form a central nervous system. It was not some magic or spirit or soul that took control of your physical being.

So I believe it does not drift anywhere once you die. Not to another form of life, not to the afterlife, etc. It is just nothing.

This is my belief

Existence is too cruel and rife with suffering for anything like a good afterlife or good deity so I would hope there wasn't one at all. There likely isn't because of all the chaos and randomness. Things like the afterlife and reincarnation are concepts that have living beings in focus when the real world doesn't have them in focus at all. I can't wait to be dead.

I understand a lot of the holy bible. Thank you for explaining though. I can't understand why Satan is more powerful God. I know he will lose in the end but why does sin happen. Why can't life be peaceful and no evil. I don't agree all sin is equal. Murder is a worse sin than stealing a packet of sweets from a shop. Apparently the only unforgivable sin is blasphemy against the holy spirit. I'd say paedophiles are unforgivable sinners.
