I've been experiencing a strange feeling whenever a car drives by me when i cross the road, this feeling is heightened when i am close enough to feel the wind blow in my face due to the car. It's not a negative feeling, rather i feel good when it happens, hence why i am confused of its existence. It's kind of a feeling of liberation because i can just die so easily if i just rushed out in the middle of the road, of course i would not ctb with train or car as that would traumatise the driver, i do not want to be a person that bring pain to others as that is something that i hate very much.

I apologise if this post is rather confusing, I am horrible at describing my feelings as I have not felt emotions normally for a while now. Does anyone also experience a strange, yet somewhat good feeling when you're reminded of your own mortality?

I think I understand what you mean. There are times when I've walked down the road in the middle of the night, and felt the headlights get brighter behind me, and then stood there feeling the air push against me as it goes past. It's a strange feeling, not necessarily nice, but kind of like a little thrill as it goes past.

Yes, i think that might be the word I'm looking for. It's a slight jolt of panic but it's not necessarily unpleasant.

Is it like looking down from a building an having the urge to jump down then the si creating that fear? I would interpret as you just wanting to challenge your si maybe
Edit: a better way of saying it is the desire to overcome fear
