Yeah it's pretty comedic. I even remember watching the news where someone suggested to use Angelina Jolie as bait to lure out Kony. It was a wild time.

It certainly was somewhat lighthearted phenomenon. Of course the topic itself was very serious but people laughed that the originators went overboard for someone who was basically already in exile/hiding. Also the guy who started it apparently went nuts

I guess that is an interesting thought for people who want to CTB in contemporary times. Life definitely was much simpler then. The early 90s which is when i was born is almost nothing like today. It was a very good time to grow up, life in america was worry free if you had a good family. Of course experiences for other nationalities in this time period were bad especially the RUS :(

There is a great documentary by the BBC about rogue waves. I think it was simply called 'Freak Wave'.

Another good documentary is called 'Conspiracy of Silence'. It's about a pedophile ring involving politicians and other powerful people.

Finally, there is a doco about crime in America called 'The Killing of America'. It's not for the faint of heart.
