I'm really starting to fear that I can't be helped. Not from the suicidal ideation but from bad experiences. I lived through a lot but I don't think professionals understand when you live with massively different things. I know they keep making it sound simple. But it's really not. I understand what a normal life should be like. But I live with people that aren't normal yet somehow manage to fool everyone. It's been a really rough few days. I just hate the thought that I'm being looked down on.

I'm sorry that you're going through a very rough time.

Yes, professionals cannot and do not understand everyone's conditions. This may make them seem cold & unempathetic or even dismissive & unsympathetic. One is lucky if one finds a professional who exactly understands what one is going through.

Coming to your situation, is there any other option available to you? Like moving away to a different home or place?

I understand and I'm sorry you're going through this. I feel as though you can be so far gone and damaged inside and out that no matter how hard we try it's just a fucking pointless waste. I would like to believe things could be different, but I just don't. Some people are just too far gone.

I think some people can if they get the right resources and support especially if they have those things early on in life.

Some problems aren't fixable though and many you can't even attempt to fix if you don't have money or the ability to stand on your own two feet. People who've lived "normal" lives expect you to be able to help yourself but years and decades of mental wounds often make that impossible without external help that's actually practical & tangible.

That's one reason why therapy is useless for people who can't help themselves to begin with.

Though it might be funny coming from someone who uses this site, I think that as long as we're alive, nothing is futile. Savable depends on what you consider "saving" someone, but there's always value in doing everything we can. Professionals might not understand and may never understand, but nobody is looking down on you. You're going through a very human, very real experience. You're not alone, and as long as you live and breathe there is always a chance to be "saved", whatever that may entail.

I'm sorry you are in this situation. I know that it can be dreadful when everything seems to be hopeless. Life is so cruel and unfair. I wish you the best.

I believe most suicides are preventable and I am not referring to the so called type of "help" out there. What I mean by that are suicides that are due to financial insecurity, loneliness, physical health issues that can be minimized or eliminated. I think mental issues are probably the least we are able to do anything about

If you're asking if you're saveable I don't know. If you're asking if anyone is of course they are. Some problems could be fixed easily if they'd allow them but sometimes people would rather have problems

I think some unplanned suicides are savable but properly planned suicides are not savable.

I feel like a lot of people here are "savable" and lot of us including myself probably don't want to die. It's just with the way things, saving ourselves isn't possible, and getting the help we need is also impossible. The amount of people who have horrible physical conditions, which could have been treated or mitigated to a reasonable point but aren't is too much. Suicide is better than living when living hurts to much. I wonder how many of us could have been "saved" if we're just raised in different/better conditions.

A lot of us can probably be saved, but it's too much effort for those who can make a diffirence, and most people will only pretend to care.
