I once had a dream of fostering children, a dream that's all but shriveled up and died, because i knew I would never have children of my own. I wouldn't want to pass on my genes to anyone and leave them with a similar fate to me. It just seems unfair to them. Kind of how it was unfair for me to be brought into this world when my parents knew the problems they had.

oh yeah for sure, if i can support my family financially which i should be able to do, then I would want to have kids. Unsure of how many though, probably just 1-2.

I respect other people's decision to either have children or choose not to, because it's not my place to tell anyone what to do with their lives. I never plan to have children biologically or adopt though.I neither had the intention nor ever a desire to procreate.
And honestly that was the best decision I ever made in my life.
