There was this girl in 7th grade I had a crush on. I thought she was lucky because she was pretty, smart, and athletic too. I thought she must be the luckiest girl on the planet. Many guys envied her.

I moved away from that school and to another one. 9 years passed by. I remembered her and looked her up on Facebook. She had a death notice on a website. I befriended one of my old male classmates on Facebook and apparently she suicided in her first year in college.

I don't know anyone very well who has CTB'd. But I think that a lot of people keep things close to their chest, and may appear to have perfect life but have demons that they don't share with others.

Some people might be being abused, or they might have a health problem, a mental health issue, or financial difficulties.

I think you can safely say that anyone who has committed suicide did not really have a perfect life, even if it appears so on the outside.

Some long for things like money, good looks, and a good job. But in reality I think that those things only get you so far, and there can be things that happen to you that effect you so much that those things feel shallow and meaningless because of the more important weight on your back that is making it feel impossible to go on.

I guess if you only knew about what I show to people, you'd say the same thing about me. I'm just wearing a mask, hoping to be saved by some magical shit.
Looks, money, certificates, job ? All that thing is empty if you don't have people who love you for who you are not what you appear to be.

That reminds me of a book about a guy who seemingly had a perfect life, and maybe he had, until a certain point, but he suicided some time after he recieved a critical injury that flipped his life from very good to very bad. The book's called Two Arms and a Head. It's the first entry in Google Search, in case any one of you is even remotely interested.

everyones idea of a perfect life is different. Maybe she had what you would consider a perfect life but it wasn't so for her. We also never know the internal battles one is facing and the ones they don't talk about.

If someone suicided their life wasn't perfect. We just don't know what was going on with them.

I've read about it and while society wants to say all suicide is the result of illness, I'd argue that its actually a perfectly normal reaction to just not wanting to live. The idea that wanting to die has to be predicated on mental or physical illness is a fallacy. Some people become depressed because the world tells them that suicide is wrong when in their heart they know its common sense.

I imagine that if ctb were as simple as using a socially acceptable suicide machine where you pressed a button and were gone, many people who want to die would never become depressed. They'd just die.

We never know what happens inside someone's mind. There are lot of people who seem to be happy and ctb. See the last Anthony Bourdain video. He was celebrating with his colleagues , he seemed happy and ctbed a day after.
